Owner, operator and janitor of the Froth Zone and its associated services.
TypeScript and Windows 11 apologist. Hated cars before it was cool. Libertarian hater.
I know that I know nothing.
All of my posts are official government opinions and those of your employer.
The Nuance Protection Fund is a non-profit organisation I just made up that seeks to re-establish nuanced discussions in popular Internet discussion mediums. Its habitat has been destroyed by monetisation, ad revenue and engagement algorithms but one donation of your entire net worth can restore balance to the Internet ecosystem

Whenever I get to making a new VPS I'm going to reopen the disbursement center as a way of colonizing Bluesky because there is nothing worthwhile ever posted there now and that needs to change

Calling games journalists journalists because some garbage some nobody posted some garbage on Bluesky is definitely comparable to the Watergate scandal, the Dreyfuss affair or the journalists that keep getting killed by the IDF deliberately is an insult to the profession of actual journalism

Of all the weird things people base YouTube channels on I would not expect someone to make one about the WTC on September 11, 2001

Update on Hostslick: my card is already filing a chargeback to them so I think that means they're siding with me
Thanks for something for once, Visa.

If anyone has any good recommendations for a cheap-ish (less than €
$10/mo for 2 cores and 2-4 GB RAM) provider that has servers in the EU please share thank you

The VPS provider Hostslick decided that after 3 days of me attempting to reach out for support after them accidentally not crediting me the correct amount for their service decided to ignore every single support email and ticket I made and terminated my server with them. I have filed a chargeback with my provider and gave them all the receipts I have.
Apart from the Bluesky PDS disbursement.center, everything else I lost was either backed up or not worth needing to be recovered.

I was a Hostslick customer since 2023. I heavily discourage anyone from using their services.

Fun fact of the day, the American Federal Railroad Administration is so understaffed and stretched thin if barely has an idea what is being transferred on the US's massive rail network. It could be people it could be a hazardous chemical, they only know when the railroad companies (that exist as little more than dividend checks for shareholders) tell them.
The next time your insane libertarian uncle tells you the government is spying on you know that they barely know what is on the rails that go through major population centres every day.
