Owner, operator and janitor of the Froth Zone and its associated services. Temporarily embarrassed trillionaire.
TypeScript and Windows 11 apologist. Hated cars before it was cool. Not a fan of libertarians.
I know that I know nothing.
All of my posts are official government opinions and those of your employer.
Shout-out to the guy who has his linear algebra textbook available for free online as an annotated PDF and also just has a picture of himself and his cat on one of the first few pages

The Internet is a lot like the protestant reformation where people will read absolutely insane things out of thin air with 0 evidence and treat it as true just replace religion with reality itself

By some miracle my framework laptop is once again fully functional, the weird keyboard problem was fixed by just removing and re-applying the keyboard cable

"We have old buildings" is to Europeans for AC what "we live far apart" is to Americans for public transit.

One of these days I will have a fully functional framework laptop again; in its current form the keyboard is entirely dead because I think I broke the cable but I'm getting that replaced, but from what I remember before I broke the cable being an idiot the keyboard has a whole bunch of dead keys probably from whatever killed the first motherboard I had

Listens to Baroque while coding murder.exe newt

The C people don't want you to know this, but the main reason why reading from NULL is prohibited is because it makes a pretty good random number generator. So good, in fact, that it falls under the US prohibited exports list because even the NSA couldn't backdoor it.

Silicon valley hasn't done anything worthwhile since like 2010 everything since is basically just avoiding regulations that they see as obsolete and then figuring out why those regulations exist the hard way

I have yet to find a "substack author" whose writing style doesn't immediately want to make me kill myself with anything I have immediately nearby

This applies to both echo chambers substack has of statue PFP Nazis that are both Republican staffers as well as nonwhite and weird centre-left people that are probably funded by some billionaire no one has heard of before

To whomever designed a new branch of annoying anti-adblock where you get an extremely vague JavaScript popup that makes the entire website completely unusable, I hope you and everyone you love or care about has something bad but not terrible happen to them

My grocery and power bills may be steadily going up while my wages remain stagnant and my rent is half my net income while new echelons of wealth get created but at least we can say retard on the Internet again and talk about culture war bullshit on the Everything App

The UK somehow always finds something wrong with society at large (social media rots your brain and makes you stupid) and implements it in the worst way possible (ID verification)

It's astounding, no matter what the policy is or who's in charge they manage to still find a way to screw it up
