In Poland people (even with IT background) are used to saying memory when they mean disk space. Polish language has both of those phrases and you can translate them 1:1.

@moshez @dikleyt there surely is some antisemitism on the left but IMO it might be also confused sometimes for the hate of the country itself. The left:
- hates religion
- hates wars and war crimes
- hates countries and borders
So it's easy to see Israel, that regularly massacres civilian population and is also very religious country as one of the worst places.
