I don't think people realise how many people actually live in India. 17.78% of the human population of the entire Earth lives in India. They are now the most populous country (a title they won in about 2023 surpassing 1.46 billion compared to China's 1.42 billion) and will keep going up despite a million+ Indians leaving every year. That doesn't include Pakistan or Bangladesh either which is India but Muslim.
