@protos partially, but like most things there's a fine line between nothing and denying everything and believing some fantasy world that doesn't exist

Shout-out to the guy who has his linear algebra textbook available for free online as an annotated PDF and also just has a picture of himself and his cat on one of the first few pages

The Internet is a lot like the protestant reformation where people will read absolutely insane things out of thin air with 0 evidence and treat it as true just replace religion with reality itself

By some miracle my framework laptop is once again fully functional, the weird keyboard problem was fixed by just removing and re-applying the keyboard cable

@benis_redux @nicholas No, I don't think it experienced some kind of thermal runaway

@nicholas i don't know because one day the computer was working and after that it randomly died, I don't think that was caused by bad QA but despite doing electrical engineering work and going to university for electrical engineering i barely understand extremely complex circuits clueless

Their customer support was not the best but IMO their QA has been largely good, and when they make mistakes they acknowledge them pretty quickly

@Inginsub cheaper SSDs also usually don't have DRAM caches which can make sustained read/write speeds insanely slow though I heard that there was some way to mitigate that

One of these days I will have a fully functional framework laptop again; in its current form the keyboard is entirely dead because I think I broke the cable but I'm getting that replaced, but from what I remember before I broke the cable being an idiot the keyboard has a whole bunch of dead keys probably from whatever killed the first motherboard I had
