They don't tell you this but the freaks that post on the Internet all of the time (including myself) are not the people you would see if you actually go outside, if you asked most people their opinion on some hyper specific Internet thing they won't care they just want to exist.
I will conclude this by saying that social media, by and large, ESPECIALLY when powered by algorithmic recommendations, needs to be destroyed

@RustyCrab When Amodei or Altman lie about their new model that does some fake benchmark 0.2% better at the cost of 291 quintillion dollars people will overreact and think the entire thing is bullshit (they're probably wrong but also they're coping)
