Being mad at $CURRENT_THING (from any side) is what keeps things from changing; everyone is too busy arguing about how many angels can fit on a pin while the Turks are destroying the Theodosian Walls [of Constantinople]. There are so many "controversies" nowadays that do not matter whatsoever beyond going "oh this is stupid" and moving on with your day.
My own biases probably shroud shit I don't care about (social issues, they're all pointless [hyperbole]) and highlight shit I do care about (economic issues, like the AI bubble and the de facto légalisation of monopolies) but I like to think I know enough to acknowledge my biases

In the attention economy, ignoring someone who craves your attention is starving them. It also (if you're using a platform that benefits from your anger [all of them]) starves out the middleman that benefits from making anyone and everyone angry.
