@bajax that's true. The only social media algorithm I use is the people I want to see in reverse chronological order

@sneeden @crunklord420 With an option you not only have to be correct about the direction the underlying stock goes you also have to be correct about the timeframe in which the asset hits the strike price. Your average Wallstreetbets retard doesn't buy options that expire more than a week until expiration too which is why they get fucked by theta (time) decay so hard.
Shorting has unlimited risk but assuming the stock doesn't go high enough you get margin called the time frame is effectively infinite, depending on the contract terms.

I love that YouTube has a feature that lets you tell them to not recommend videos or channels and then videos and channels you tell to ignore show up like nothing happened.
It's amazing that one of the largest companies in the world and the monopoly on search and ads has features on their second largest platform that don't work

Anyone want to start a business where we buy BNPL debt and allow people to pay it off in 4 easy 0% interest payments, I call them SBS: Stupidity Backed Securities. We could even sell them for pennies on the dollar to banks and other financial institutions trying to diversify their portfolios!

There is absolutely no way this can go tits up

Imagine my shock that Klarna is losing money on people not paying their loans on Doordashed 300% markup McDonalds

Betting €13 on the US economy being in recession come the end of July I'm a high roller (currently an 80% chance that I am wrong is priced in)

@bajax when the US rolls back consumer protections on sketchy loans take advantage of the poor with ridiculous interest rates and rake in the money though the not paying rate is going to be high

Become a payday lender

Buy Now Pay Later really seems like one of those things that becomes really popular right before a major financial crisis and then immediately becomes illegal because of how risky it is

@RustyCrab @sneeden That it couldn't go tits up despite the extreme risk and minimal reward BNPL entails. Klarna barely made money before delinquencies start to rise.
The currently only publicly traded one, Affirm, which only works in the US AFAIK, is barely profitable
