@KaiserKitty@RustyCrab@waifu The problem with that is like the Linux problem where contrarians will shit on anything popular because it is popular and they don't want the "normals" in their niche hobby
Microsoft just smashed their earnings now all of my investment immediately skyrocket The tech bubble sure is unsustainable but I appreciate the capital gains
Calling games journalists journalists because some garbage some nobody posted some garbage on Bluesky is definitely comparable to the Watergate scandal, the Dreyfuss affair or the journalists that keep getting killed by the IDF deliberately is an insult to the profession of actual journalism
@bajax mainly tech hardware places like AMD, Nvidia, ARM and TSMC (fucking rip intel) as well as the actual good investments like boring ETFs that track the indices Also I invested in the Reddit IPO as a joke and I'm up 3x
@bajax the funny thing is most of the actual investing I've made has gone very well (thanks Nvidia) it's the little bit of dumb shit I do that always goes tits up
@bajax I think this is the first time I've bought a financial derivative and not lost at least a little bit of money. Clearly this means I should keep gambling on options
@phnt@Jain iirc they wanted me to give them a PayPal account which sure they could probably get my real info out of that if they really wanted to but haven't asked for anything else since
@RustyCrab@nyanide open recursive DNS resolvers are trivial abuse vectors, the email the BSI sends just says to make sure you have countermeasures for abuse They're annoying but they don't mean anything
@nyanide I tried them 2 years ago, they wanted me to call them, send them my ID and show them a proof of my address Maybe they changed, thank you for the suggestion
@nyanide I'm an active Hetzner customer so yeah, I get a complaint about having an open DNS resolver on my server about twice a week from the German police and Hetzner just forwards it to me saying I don't actually have to do anything
