Of all the weird things people base YouTube channels on I would not expect someone to make one about the WTC on September 11, 2001

@bajax mainly tech hardware places like AMD, Nvidia, ARM and TSMC (fucking rip intel) as well as the actual good investments like boring ETFs that track the indices
Also I invested in the Reddit IPO as a joke and I'm up 3x

@bajax the funny thing is most of the actual investing I've made has gone very well (thanks Nvidia) it's the little bit of dumb shit I do that always goes tits up

@bajax I think this is the first time I've bought a financial derivative and not lost at least a little bit of money. Clearly this means I should keep gambling on options

Update on Hostslick: my card is already filing a chargeback to them so I think that means they're siding with me
Thanks for something for once, Visa.

@phnt @Jain iirc they wanted me to give them a PayPal account which sure they could probably get my real info out of that if they really wanted to but haven't asked for anything else since

@Jain their cheapest plan is still within the budget and I already use a dedicated from them, I might just use them again.

Thanks for the suggestion blobcatthumbsup

@RustyCrab @nyanide open recursive DNS resolvers are trivial abuse vectors, the email the BSI sends just says to make sure you have countermeasures for abuse
They're annoying but they don't mean anything

@nyanide I tried them 2 years ago, they wanted me to call them, send them my ID and show them a proof of my address
Maybe they changed, thank you for the suggestion hapyretard

@nyanide I'm an active Hetzner customer so yeah, I get a complaint about having an open DNS resolver on my server about twice a week from the German police and Hetzner just forwards it to me saying I don't actually have to do anything

If anyone has any good recommendations for a cheap-ish (less than €
$10/mo for 2 cores and 2-4 GB RAM) provider that has servers in the EU please share thank you

@zero @phnt I tried once in 2022 or 2023 and they immediately wanted me to give them KYC info

@phnt @zero they were fine for 2 years, some small bits of downtime usually no longer than a few hours with plausible explanations always given, until now when they just decided to ignore me completely
